SWAMPSCOTT – A Lynn man was shot at on Windsor Avenue in Swampscott Monday night.
According to Detective Sgt. Tim Cassidy, the 30-year-old victim was kidnapped, shot at, beaten and robbed.
Cassidy said area residents reported hearing several gunshots at approximately 10:25 p.m.
?The victim suffered head, face and mouth injuries from the beating,” he said.
According to Cassidy, the victim was transported to Salem Hospital where he was treated and released.
Cassidy said the suspects fled in the victim’s car, which was located in Lynn last night.
The incident is being investigated by the Lynn Police, Swampscott Police and the Massachusetts
State Police.
