FOXBOROUGH – The New England Patriots are in the AFC championship game.The Patriots rode six touchdown passes by Tom Brady – which tied an NFL post-season record set by Steve Young and Darryl Lamonica – to defeat the Denver Broncos tonight, 45-10, in an AFC Divisional championship game at Gillette Stadium.the Pats jumped to a 14-0 lead after two possessions. And after Denver cut the lead to 14-7 on a Willois McGahee touchdown set up after Brady was picked off, the Patriots poured it on.Three of Brady’s touchdown passes went to Rob Gronkowski, while Wes Welker, Deoin Branch and Aaron Hernandez caught the others.Tim Tebow was 9 for 26 for 136 yards for the Broncos.The Patriots will play the winner of tomorrow’s Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game next Sunday at Gillette.
