Golf ball drop could be fruitful

LYNN – There’s money to be made – and potentially quite a bit – at the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce’s golf outing next week.Someone could win $10,000, $5,000 or $2,500 during a helicopter golf ball drop fundraiser during Monday’s tournament at Gannon Golf Course.In addition, the chamber guarantees the following top three prizes even if the numbers don’t line up exactly the right way: four Red Sox Tickets, $250 cash prize and $100.Sponsored and organized by GolfBallCharity.com, three golf ball numbers will be selected by Grand Prize Promotions Thursday and mailed to the chamber in a sealed envelope.Each number is assigned to a prize: $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500.
