A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:18 a.m. Thursday at 40 Federal St.; at 12:44 p.m. Thursday at  Chatham and Essex streets; at 3:47 p.m. Thursday at Boston and Cedar streets; at 6:53 p.m. Thursday at Park Street and Western Avenue.    

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 11:48 a.m. Thursday at Ellis and Silsbee streets. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 3:06 p.m. Thursday at 125 Walnut St.; at 4:10 p.m. Thursday at 16 Commercial St.  

Assaults 

A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 1:57 p.m. Thursday at 5 Chatham St. 

A report of an assault and battery at 5:17 p.m. Thursday at Family Dollar at 50 Central Ave.

A report of an opiate overdose at 10:49 a.m. Thursday at 21 Pinkham St.

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 6:44 p.m. Thursday at 54 N Franklin St.

LYNNFIELD 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with injury at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday at 995 Salem St. Two poles were struck during the crash and a dog was seen running from the scene. 

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at 605 Walnut St. and 1 Sparhawk Drive. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday at 954 Salem St. and 1 Locust St. A vehicle struck a deer. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 7:19 p.m. Thursday at Whole Foods Market at 100 Market St.; at 3:17 a.m. Friday at Post Office Square and Salem Street. 

Assaults 

A report of an assault and battery at 3:52 p.m. Monday at 39 Green St. A caller, who stated she is a PCA for the state, said she was assaulted by another PCA while she was at a client’s house. She said the other PCA ripped her skin, which had caused her to bleed from her arm that was already injured. Police responded to check on the well-being of the disabled resident. 

Complaints

At 4:08 p.m. Tuesday, security from Kings Entertainment at 510 Market St. reported seven to eight kids were jumping on the furniture. Police reported the kids were picked up by their parents. 

A report of drug violations at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lynnfield High School at 275 Essex St. Kaleigh T. Burke, 18, of 32 Rossmore Road, was issued a summons for Class C drug possession. 


MARBLEHEAD 

Assaults 

A report of an employee who was assaulted at 7:22 a.m. Thursday on Pleasant Street. 

Theft 

A report of a bag taken from a car at 8:23 a.m. Thursday on Allerton Place. 


PEABODY 

Arrests

Joshua Patrick Espinal, 37, of 123 Highland Ave., Apt. 1, Salem, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and using an electronic device while operating a motor vehicle at 12:16 p.m. Thursday. 

Sean M. Lupsewicz, 33, of 13 Abington Ave., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on a warrant at 9:29 p.m. Thursday. 

John Mendola, 62, of 206 W 100th and 18th St., Apt. 3T, Harlem, N.Y., was arrested and charged with identity fraud, uttering a false document, and forgery of a money order at 2:58 p.m. Thursday. 

Accidents 

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash at 2:53 p.m. Thursday at 10 Tamarack Lane.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 4:12 p.m. Thursday on Northshore Road; at 7:08 a.m. Friday at 176 Lynnfield St.; at 10:58 a.m. Friday at 112 Lowell St.   

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 4:42 p.m. Thursday at 80 Wallis St. A caller reported seeing a strange footprint on the glare of the window. Police reported there was no break in. 

A breaking and entering was reported at 9:50 a.m. Friday at 62 Washington St. Possible lost or stolen property was reported. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at 10 Highland Park. A caller reported a stolen package, which cost about $30. 

Overdose 

A report of an overdose at 11:20 a.m. Thursday at 15 Blueberry Way. A woman was taken to Salem Hospital. 


SAUGUS 

Arrests 

Alexander Olivo-Franqui, of 13 Summer St., Apt. 101, Biddeford, Maine, was arrested on a federal warrant at 9:13 p.m. Thursday. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:12 p.m. Thursday at Elder Law Offices at 1 Essex St.; at 3:14 p.m. Thursday at Elm and Central streets; at 5:16 p.m. Thursday at 94 Essex St. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:15 p.m. Thursday at K Pub at 22 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported the establishment had tried to stop a woman who had too much to drink from leaving, but she had proceeded to try to drive and struck multiple cars in the parking lot. The woman was picked up by her husband. 

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 9:47 a.m. Thursday at MRP Site Development/Testa at 63 Salem Turnpike. A manager reported a man who had been at the business overnight appeared to be casing the business to steal scrap metal. The man had left in a blue pickup truck. Police reported nothing was taken and advised the manager to call the station if the man returned.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 4:08 p.m. Thursday at 3 Dell Ave. The Fire Department reported a suspicious vehicle. Police reported the owner of the vehicle was enjoying the weather and watching the birds.  

A report of a suspicious person at 5:29 a.m. Friday at Mobil Station at 2 Essex St. A caller reported a suspicious man in dark clothing was hanging around the gas pumps. Police were unable to locate the man. 

At 7:17 a.m. Friday, a caller reported an injured coyote was running around the parking lot near the football field at Saugus Middle-High School at 1 Pierce Memorial Drive. Animal Control was notified.
