News, Photo Galleries Photos: A socially distant farmers’ market
The Grab and Go Lynn Farmers’ Market, hosted by The Food Project and Lynn Grows, was open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday offering produce sold in pre-packaged $10 bags. Safety of the customers and vendors was the primary focus amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers were asked to remain six feet apart from each other and stand at pre-designated X’s and were not allowed to handle to produce directly to avoid as much contact as possible. The Grab and Go Lynn Farmers’ Market will return to the corner of Mt. Vernon and Exchange streets on Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and SNAP customers can receive between $40-$80 depending on their program.
