One person died Tuesday in a four-alarm fire in Revere.
Firefighters were called at 2:30 a.m. to the multi-family home on Thornton Street. Windy conditions made it tough for crews to extinguish the fire. At points, flames were seen shooting from the roof.
“A little young girl came out the window. She was stuck up there. She was so upset, and she wanted to jump to the street, but three guys wouldn’t let her. They said, ‘Calm down. We are going to help you,’” WCVB quoted witness Daudncio Ocasio as saying. “But still, when they tried to grab her, she still jumped. She still fell on the ground and (got hurt) a little bit.”
The victim’s name has not been released.
