LYNN — An ATV on the back of a pickup truck exploded and caused a fire that damaged the truck and a BMW next to it on Linwood Road Wednesday.
According to Fire Capt. Joseph Zukas, when the ATV exploded, the radiant heat from the fire also caused minor damage to 5557 Linwood Road. Neighbors said that they heard explosions and then saw a fire.
No injuries were reported and the fire department was able to contain the fire within 30 minutes. The only damage was to the vehicles and the side of the house on Linwood Road.
The fire has been classified as undetermined.
