The Peabody offense came alive on Tuesday afternoon, as the Tanners girls lacrosse team took down Quincy, 15-4, in the season opener. Lauren Wolff was the top scorer for Peabody with eight points, while Olivia Kiricoples and Colleen Crotty each contributed four points and Jillian Amirault had two points. Sarah Buckley, Carla Patania and Jillian McCormick each had one point.
On the defensive end for the Tanners (1-0), Alyssa Shashaty, Catherine Manning, Kelly Crotty and Kirsten Bradley all had solid performances. Goalkeeper Gianna Denisco recorded nine saves in the win.
Peabody has a full week off before getting back in action on Tuesday afternoon when it hosts Marblehead.

Connor McCarron and Tim January each scored one goal for Peabody (0-1), while goalkeeper Jake DeStefano had 25 saves and one assist.
Peabody will take on Marblehead next Tuesday on the road.
