PEABODY – Contacting U.S. Rep. John F. Tierney just got easier. The Salem Democrat this week launched his new interactive online office.”This is an opportunity to share with you more of my work in Washington and around the Sixth District of Massachusetts,” said Tierney. “It’s my sincere hope that my Web site will provide a fast and easy way for you to keep in touch with me at any time, from anywhere. In my online office, you can access a whole new range of services and information.”The congressman encourages constituents to visit the Web site’s Newsroom link to learn about the latest congressional happenings in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.; view footage of his latest speeches on the floor of Congress; get updated information on important issues such as national security and education; and share thoughts by sending an e-mail.Visitors to the Web site can also sign up for the congressman’s e-newsletter and obtain information on community events and local, state and federal agencies. To visit the online office, go to: http://tierney.house.gov.Tierney reminded constituents who do not have a computer Internet access that most public libraries will provide the service for free.”Many college and university campuses, senior centers and community centers offer access to the World Wide Web,” he said.
