LYNN – The North Shore Christian School will hold its annual “friendraising and fundraising dinner” Nov. 2 at Spinelli’s Function Facility, Route 1 South, Lynnfield.The event will feature speakers Dr. Stanley A. Clark of Simpson University and Dr. Stan Gaede of Gordon College.Clark has been engaged in full-time service in Christian Higher education for most of his career. He is a sociologist by training, with nine years of classroom experience. For the past 27 years he has been the Chief Academic Officer at Christian colleges and universities in Kansas, Russia, Pennsylvania, California and currently as Provost at Simpson University in Redding, Calif. He is a parent of a former student at North Shore Christian School.Dr. Stan Gaede earned his BA from Westmont College, his Master’s degree from California University and his Ph. D. from Vanderbilt University, all in the field of Sociology. He is the author of numerous books and articles, and a frequent speaker at the colleges, conferences and churches. Dr. Gaede currently serves as a Scholar in Residence and Senior Advisor to President Jud Carlberg at Gordon College. He is also a parent of a former student at North Shore Christian School.The event will take place Friday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m. Pianist and parent of an NSCS student, Motoko Melito will perform from 6-6:30 p.m. and eighth-grader Matthew Maglaya will be the featured performer.
