Boston man stabbed in Revere

REVERE – A 24-year-old East Boston man received a stab wound to the hand during an attempted larceny at Store 24 on Shirley Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday, police said.The victim, a store employee, was trying to stop the suspect from shoplifting when he received a minor wound to his hand, according to police.He received medical attention from the Revere Fire Department.The suspect, a black male, fled the area with a black female in a 2003 Dodge Neon, which is registered to a woman who lives in Lynn, police said.Lynn police were notified of the incident.As of press time, no arrests had been made.
