Gloucester native Fitz H. Lane, who helped define the luminist movement, will be discussed at the Nahant Historical Society. Lane was a frontrunner in the luminism movement among 19th century artists, who put emphasis on the play of light on their subjects. The illustrated lecture will be held Sunday, Oct. 21.
