LYNN – The Lynn Museum and Historical Society will hold a benefit and food tasting on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at 590 Washington Street (corner of Union Street) to support its activities.Guests are invited to dress up, arrive hungry for a sumptuous food tasting, and support the Museum with a generous heart as they bid on unique and special auction items.Area restaurants and caterers are donating food with wine and beer donated by Kappy’s, and auction items donated by the Lynn community and beyond.Party specialist Bruce Silverlieb is a major event sponsor. The evening will be hosted in conjunction with the Museum’s newest special exhibit, “Dressing to Dazzle: Stepping Out in Lynn,” which features formal clothing and accessories worn by Lynners between the 1830s and the 1970s.Ticket packages for this event start at $35 per person and are on sale now. The Museum is also currently accepting donations of auction items and program book sponsorships.
