LYNN – An argument between two acquaintances led to a 23-year-old woman getting stabbed in the chest on Fortesque Terrace late Tuesday afternoon, police said.Arthur Lebel, 27, of 52 Friend St., Lynn, was later arrested and charged with the attack.According to Police Capt. Mark O’Toole, the pair was arguing inside a residence around 4:30 p.m. when Lebel took a box cutter and slashed the victim across the chest. She was treated at a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.After the stabbing, Lebel allegedly ran away then tried to break into two nearby apartments at 38 Estes St. in an attempt to hide from police.Police said he kicked in two apartment doors, which led to additional breaking-and-entering charges.In all, Lebel was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, two counts of malicious destruction of property over $250 and two counts of breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony.
