PEABODY-HealthLink, the North Shore’s most active environmental and public health advocacy group, will host a free public forum on renewable energy on Oct. 25.The Essex County Renewable Energy Roundtable will be held in Jubilee Hall at the Torigian Life Center, 79 Central St., from 5:30-8:30 p.m.According to HealthLink spokesman Martha Dansdill, participants can learn about local projects that are reducing dependence on costly fossil fuel and incorporating innovative, sustainable and efficient clean energy.Guest speakers will include Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll, who will highlight the progress her city has made in terms of renewable energy initiatives. Marybeth Campbell from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative will explain how the organization offers support, funding and expertise in launching renewable energy projects.
