Two injured in Peabody crash

PEABODY – A one-car accident versus a pole happened shortly after 9 p.m. Friday on Sutton Street.According to Peabody Police Lt. John McCorry, the accident involving two people caused the pole to fall down with live wires surrounding the vehicle.Both victims were listed as unconscious and were trapped in the vehicle for approximately 15 minutes. Peabody Electric Light was notified and electricity was shut down in the area to safely extricate the victims.The driver of a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Anthony Occhipinti, 18, of 29 Barnes St., Salem, was taken by ambulance to Salem Hospital, while the passenger, Brian Darmondy, 18, of 9 Lawrence St., Salem, was transported to Union Hospital.?
