The Beverly girls cross country team continued its stellar season with a second-place finish in the Division 2 championships at Franklin Park in Boston on Sunday. The Panthers finished second with 118 points, eight behind Whitman-Hanson.In Division 4, Swampscott, led by Lindsay Walsh’s third-place finish, came in fourth overall with a score of 183. Danvers and Marblehead finished 12th and 15th, respectively, in Division 3.In the Division 1 boys race, St. John’s Prep finished fifth and Peabody was ninth. Gloucester was third in Division 2.
