Lynnfield church youth group to hold recycling drive

LYNNFIELD – With the holiday season upon us, it’s time to make room for all the new presents headed your way.The High School Youth Group at Centre Church in Lynnfield is holding a recycling drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church parking lot.With the help of CRT Recycling, the group will collect old televisions, computer monitors, appliances, air conditioners, stoves, refrigerators, etc. for nearly half the price charged by the town.Smaller items such as cell phones, DVD players and video games will be collected at a cost of $5. Computer monitors will cost $10, rather than the $25 Lynnfield charges. Larger items like washers, dryers, and stoves will cost $15.All proceeds will go towards this summer’s mission trip to New Orleans. For more information, contact Barbara Langill at 781-334-3050.
