SALEM – A Lynn man accused of robbing the Dunkin? Donuts on Western Avenue will have to come up with $5,000 bail to get out of the Middleton Jail pending trial.Harold Murray, 25, of 9 Autumn St., #1, Lynn, pleaded not guilty to charges of armed robbery and attempted unarmed robbery in Salem Superior Court Monday morning, in connection with his arrest in September.Judge David A. Lowy agreed to set the same bail as previously established earlier in Lynn District Court as recommended by the prosecutor and defense, but the bail can be reviewed at another court date.It was about 10:45 a.m., on Sept. 26 when a man, later identified as Murray, walked into the Dunkin? Donuts at 50 Western Ave., wielding a gun and stealing two jars of tip money from the counter.When police responded the scene, Murray apparently tried to steal the service revolver from a Lynn police officer before being taken into custody.His next scheduled court date is Jan. 7 for a pretrial conference.A conviction on the armed robbery charge carries a potential life sentence in state prison.
