REVERE-A nationwide manhunt began Tuesday for the suspect in Taunton’s first murder of the year. The suspect, considered armed and dangerous, is believed to have some ties in the Revere area.Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 38-year-old Timothy Cassidy of Taunton in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found in a parked car at the Myles Standish Industrial Park last Wednesday.Besides Revere, authorities said Cassidy has ties to several other Massachusetts communities, including Waltham, Easton, Weymouth, Braintree, Norwell and Rockland. He also has connections to Starks, Maine and locations in Texas and Georgia.The Bristol District Attorney’s office said the victim, 44-year-old James Madonna of Taunton, was shot several times.He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 220 pounds. He was last seen driving a 2005 Toyota Camry with a Massachusetts license plate of 12TP32.(Associated Press material was used in this report.)
