Police seeking shooters

LYNN – A shooting allegedly took place on Thursday at approximately 10 p.m. in the area of 36 Newhall St.According to Lt. Dave Brown of the Lynn Police Department, initial reports indicate that multiple gunshots were fired from a vehicle, which fled the scene in the direction of Broad Street.Brown said the vehicle is described as a late model 1990s gray or silver colored Honda.Police allegedly found four .22 caliber shell casings in the street and a neighbor heard five gunshots.Brown said while there are no suspects in the incident, a black male was observed running away, but that he might have just been trying to flee for safety reasons.?Police secured the scene and located several shell casings,” he said. “At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains on-going.”
