SALEM ? A Marblehead woman allegedly sought refuge behind a dumpster Monday after being chased out of a Salem Walgreens for shoplifting, police said.Sally A. Duerden, 30, of 18 Village St., Marblehead, was arrested and charged with shoplifting shortly after 4 p.m.Police say Duerden took $87 in items and tried to walk out of the New Derby Street store.The store manager then tried to stop Duerden, who allegedly ran away before hiding behind a dumpster nearby.The manager found Duerden and confronted her, but Duerden allegedly dropped the items and ran away up Lafayette Street, police said.Police later found Duerden at the corner of Harbor and Lafayette street and placed her under arrest.
