LYNN – Gary Molea may be out as the Lynn English football coach, and he may be grudgingly all right with that, but he wants to clear up any misconceptions people have that his team quit on him during the Thanksgiving game. The Bulldogs took it on the chin that day, losing to Classical, 46-6. Toward the end, some of his players removed their jerseys and shoulder pads, leading people to assume they’d decided to quit for the day.Not so, Molea said.”(Classical coach) Matt (Durgin) was putting all his young kids in the game, and so were we,” Molea said. “I was watching the game, so I didn’t see what was happening. But some of my coaches saw it.”The game was over,” he said. “They were out of the game. The kids were in there. Some of them were dinged up, and they took some equipment off. It wasn’t as if they all came in and threw it all on the ground. Both benches were being emptied.”
