PEABODY-An alleged Lynn gang member can add a domestic assault and battery charge to his long rap sheet that contains several previous charges for dangerous offenses.Raymundo Henriquez, 24, of 296 Boston St. #2, Lynn, was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with domestic assault and battery after he allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend for “dishonoring” him.Peabody District Court Judge James Lamothe Jr. ordered Henriquez held without bail on Monday. The victim told police Henriquez is a leader of the Deuce Boyz/Soldiers, one of Lynn’s well-known gangs. Some of his prior charges include firing a gun within 500 feet of a building, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a class B drug and larceny.Henriquez allegedly assaulted the victim one day after he was released from a nearly two-year jail sentence.Within 24 hours of being released, Henriquez allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s Hardy Street home in Peabody and told her to “drop the lesbian act,” pointed to a tattoo that said “death b4 dishonor” and told her she needed to follow the gang’s rules and regulations and get back with him.The girlfriend said she stopped conversing with Henriquez a couple of months after he went to prison and started dating other people, police said. And when she admitted to Henriquez on Nov. 11 that she engaged in sexual acts with another Deuce Boyz member he allegedly got mad and called her a “ho.” He then called his friend and asked him to pick him up before he “kills this b?,” police said. Before the friend arrived, Henriquez allegedly swung at the victim and missed. He then allegedly grabbed her left arm near her wrist and punched her under her chin. He then slapped her face a few times before elbowing her in the chest, police said. Henriquez then allegedly hit her on the head causing her to “see light flashes,” according to police.A few minutes later, Henriquez allegedly began assaulting the victim again but stopped when two of her friends came into the room. Before he left he allegedly put his hands together showing the tattoo “death b4 dishonor” and said he would see her on the street again, which according to the victim, meant he would kill her.The victim spoke to police about a long violent history with Henriquez, which included her getting slapped, punched, kicked in the head and having a gun pointed to her head, police said. However, court records show a nasty hand-written letter was sent to Henriquez and was signed by the victim. Most of its contents were too graphic to publish, but it contained a message saying she hoped he would get raped in prison. The author also complained that Henriquez once told her he was going out for a cigarette and would have sex with another woman while the girlfriend was “still in da crib.”According to gang rules, the victim was not supposed to leave the boyfriend or even look at another guy, she told police. She said that if Henriquez saw another man’s phone number appear on her cell phone, he would either smash the phone or take it from her, police said. When Lynn police arrested Henriquez on Nov. 20, a detective noted that he and the victim had been text messaging each other between the time he was arrested and the day the victim reported the incident seven days earlier.Henriquez was indicted June 29, 2006 in Salem Superior Court on several weapons charges stemming from a gang-related incident in Lynn.He is due back in Peabody District Court Dec. 19 for a pre-trial hearing on the domestic assault and battery incident.
