Freshmen Britani Dunbar and Athina Simolaris scored their first goals for Marblehead (1-2), which got outshot 26-17.Masconomet 4, English 3At Topsfield, the Bulldogs fought to the end but came up one goal short. In the second period, Vanessa Caruccio scored for English on a Lindsay Barker and McKenzie Clark feed. Chelsea Bartlett also scored for the Bulldogs, with both Sarah Clewer and Adriana Russell recording assists.In the third period, the trio got together again for English (1-2), this time with Clewer potting the score and Bartlett and Russell doing the passing.Cambridge 4, Peabody 1At Cambridge, the young Tanners squad was again defeated, but not for lack of effort.
