SAUGUS – If you are wondering if Santa will sweep down your street before he goes on his world tour Christmas Eve, the answer is a resounding yes.Following the same route he has for 20 years, Santa hits town at 6:30 p.m. when he glides into the Central Fire Station to pick up his Police and Fire escort. He will depart at 10 p.m. sharp to finish his appointed route.While in town he will make a special visit to Town Hall between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. to wish townspeople a very, Merry Christmas and he has requested as many children as possible stop by to see him.So listen for the sirens and come out and greet Santa as he passes by.
