Hockey Roundup: Revere boys edge Danvers

With only 35 ticks remaining on the clock, Shane Doyle (game-winning goal) hooked up with Jay Sasso to propel the Revere boys hockey team past Danvers 3-2 in a thriller.The puck could not pass the crease on either side for the majority of the third period. However, both teams traded off goals in the first and second periods.Paul Pelletier and Sasso were the other goal-scorers for the Patriots. Steve Kontos scored a goal and added an assist for the Falcons. Troy Thibodeau also scored for Danvers.St. Clement 3, Tech 2At Connery Rink, despite outshooting St. Clement 35-26, the Tigers (0-3) struggled maintaining an offensive attack. Jesse Wilkins scored both of Tech’s goals, with Russ Quealy, Justin Morgan and Brian Provost picking up assists.
