REVERE/LYNN/PEABODY-Police on the North Shore are investigating several brazen robberies that occurred in Lynn, Revere and Peabody since New Year’s Eve that resulted in two arrests so far.On Wednesday at 12:20 p.m., Revere police responded to Tobey’s Jewelry at 150 Shirley Ave. after two men used a rock to smash open a glass display case and steal 20 gold necklaces, police said.Both suspects, a heavy-set black male and a thin white male, fled the area in a Nissan Altima toward Revere Beach Boulevard, according to police. They were not apprehended as of press time.At 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Lynn police were called to Essex Market at 99 Essex St. after an armed robbery occurred about 30 minutes earlier.Police said the robber had a knife and approached the store clerk, a male in his early 20s, behind the counter. The suspect ordered the employee onto the floor as he stole cash from the cash register and lottery machine, police said.The suspect was described as a light-skinned, possibly white male about 5-foot-9 and 250 pounds. He fled in an unknown direction and hasn’t been caught.At almost the exact same time, a Lynn man allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven store on Route 1 in Peabody at gunpoint, Peabody police said.Police responded to the store at 23 Newbury St. at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday after the suspect, Eric L. Davis, 27, of 182 Henry Ave., Lynn, allegedly held up the store. He was taken into custody a short time later at a Holiday Inn.Davis was charged with armed robbery, intimidation of a witness, larceny under $250 and three default warrants.Another arrest was made on New Year’s Eve after a Lynn man robbed a female pizza delivery driver at knifepoint inside an apartment building at 80 Baker St. in Lynn.At about 9 p.m. Monday, the 47-year-old woman was making a delivery at the building when she walked into the foyer and was approached by a man holding a large knife, police said.The suspect allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money and a cell phone.He was later identified as Sylguens Jacques, 28, of 72 High Rock St., Lynn and was charged with receiving stolen property over $250.
