Lynn Area Chamber offers free weekly business counseling

LYNN – Free and confidential business counseling is available with S.C.O.R.E. (Counselors to America’s Small Business) through the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, 100 Oxford St. Lynn.Businesses do not have to be a member of the LACC to take advantage of this free service and start-ups are encouraged to book appointments.S.C.O.R.E. is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE provides professional guidance and information to maximize the success of America’s existing and emerging small businesses.With S.C.O.R.E., start-up businesses as well as existing businesses can take advantage of:A face-to-face consultation with a business professional who can answer your questions.A team of S.C.O.R.E. counselors to provide you with specialized assistance in a wide range of business areas.S.C.O.R.E. has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 12,400 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.S.C.O.R.E. Counselors come with a wealth of experience from years of business management and ownership. Counselors come from many areas of the business world, including: accounting, banking, engineering, human resources, law, manufacturing, marketing, real estate, retailing, insurance, sales, and more. Funding for the local S.C.O.R.E. program provided in part by the Lynn Department of Economic and Community Development.Businesses are urged to take advantage of SCORE’s free services.
