REVERE-The Revere Street bridge was scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. today, giving area drivers a welcome surprise.The bridge has been closed to eastbound traffic since the beginning of the summer, causing commuters on American Legion Highway (Rte. 60) to drive through Mahoney Circle in order to arrive at North Shore Road (Rte. 1A).Police said the bridge is expected to stay open in both directions for the foreseeable future.?
