SALEM – A Lynn man, already facing a drug trafficking charge, was arraigned on another drug case Friday in Superior Court.Juan Torres, 33, of 102 Hollingsworth St., pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, second offense, before Judge Howard J. Whitehead.He remains held on a no bail status at the Middleton Jail following his arraignment.The charge stems from his arrest in Lynn on the afternoon of June 4 when he allegedly sold three bags of cocaine for $100 to an undercover police officer on Bayview Avenue.Torres faces a mandatory minimum of five years in state prison, if convicted as charged.The case was continued to Feb. 19.But Torres, also known as Alison Rosendo, has another case pending stemming from his arrest in Salem on Aug. 2, 1996 when he allegedly was caught with over 14 grams of cocaine, an allegation he denies.He is scheduled for trial on that case on Feb. 19 in Superior Court.
