LYNN – Police reports show that drunk drivers were out in full force on Lynn streets this past weekend, including a Beverly man who was bagged after driving the wrong way on a downtown street – racking up his sixth drunken driving offense.Joseph M. Navarro, 50, of 31 Cabot St., Beverly, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol (sixth offense) at about 11 p.m. Saturday, shortly after he almost collided head-on with a police car because he was driving the wrong way down Liberty Street, police said.Lynn Police arrested two other people for OUI this weekend.Shelley King, 47, of 41 Millard Ave., Lynn, was arrested and charged with her forth OUI offense after she allegedly crashed her 2004 Mitsubishi into the front of Lazy Dog Restaurant in Wyoma Square shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday. When police asked King for her license, she allegedly told an officer, “I don’t have a license. I lost it because of an OUI.”Police said a crushed Coors Light beer can was found in King’s pocketbook. No one was injured in the accident.Meanwhile, Ernesto A. Police also cited the other driver for operating with a revoked license. Both Navarro and King were ordered Monday held in prison without bail by Lynn District Court judges. They are both due back in court on Thursday for dangerousness hearings.Rivas was released Monday on personal recognizance. He was ordered not to operate a vehicle until a pre-trial hearing on March 10.
