SAUGUS – A Saugus man will be summonsed to court after he allegedly flipped his car over on Route 1 south Wednesday and ran away from the scene, State Police said.Christopher Desimone, 35, of 1801 Lewis O’Grady Drive, Saugus, will be summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident, a marked lanes violation and driving an uninsured vehicle.Police and firefighters responded to Route 1 in front of Friendly’s shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday after Desimone’s car rolled over and landed in the parking lot of the restaurant, police said.When police arrived, no one was found inside the vehicle and witnesses said a man ran away into the woods behind Friendly’s, according to police.No one was injured.
