Lynn police search for bank robber

LYNN – Police are still searching for the suspect involved in Thursday’s robbery of the St. Jean’s Credit Union at 527 Western Ave.Around 5 p.m., police said a white male described as being between 20 to 30 years of age, with blonde hair and wearing a white baseball hat with red trim and a light colored jacket with a stripe on the front and back, entered the store and passed a note to a teller demanding money.The suspect then reportedly fled the scene with approximately $300 in cash.It was unknown whether a weapon was displayed during the robbery.The Lynn Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, as well as the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is continuing the investigation into the incident.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lynn Police at 781-595-2000.
