LYNNFIELD – Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery of a Lynnfield bank, police said.Daniel J. Buckley, 34, of 22 Nicholson St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with armed robbery after his car was pulled over by police in Lynn.Rachel K. Fulton, 28, of 7A Buffum St. Ext., Salem, who was also in the car with Buckley, was arrested on four default warrants for previous motor vehicle violations.Police responded to the Eastern Bank at the corner of Route 1 and Salem Street in Lynnfield around 1:50 p.m. after employees reported a robbery.At the time, police received a report that the robber was a female wearing a black wig. The suspect reportedly made off with about $5,000 cash before getting arrested.The armed robbery charge against Buckley means that either a weapon was displayed or implied during the robbery. However, police did not release further details on the incident Tuesday.The same Eastern Bank branch was robbed Dec. 1, 2007, also reportedly by a female robber, who walked out of the bank with $4,000 and sporting a Coach handbag. No arrests were made in that robbery. It’s not clear if the two incidents are connected.
