Swampscott’s John Beaulieu was named the Northeastern Conference South Most Valuable Player and Dave Brown, Winthrop, received the NEC SouthCoach of the Year. Danvers took home the Sportsmanship Award.In the NEC North, Salem’s Junior Lugo received the Most Valuable Player Award and Scott Lewis was named Coach of the Year. Revere received the Sportsmanship Award.Classical had three players named to the NEC North All-Star team: Jarell Byrd, Jasper Grassa and Quivari Jackson. English’s Rafael Perez and Ryan Woumn also made the team. The other North all stars are Antonio Reyes and Chris Maxson, Salem; Dan Mello, Peabody; Juvic Muteba, Revere, and Matt Tobin and Nate Knudson, Beverly.The NEC South team includes Brian Levie, Gloucester; Damola Abu and Tarique Allen, Marblehead; Dan Internicola and Ryan Anastos, Saugus; Dino Mallios, Mike Visco, Gavin Mahoney and John Murdock, Winthrop, and Craig Rodenstein and Scott Lefler, Swampscott.NEC GirlsEnglish’s Jeanette Anderson received the Northeastern Conference North Most Valuable Player and Courtney Finn, Winthrop, took home the honor for the NEC North.In Coach of the Year voting, Classical’s Tom Sawyer received the award for the NEC South and Jack Hughes received it for the NEC North.
