The resume for St. Mary’s senior Abby Gauthier now is just about filled with every record that a hockey player can hold individually in Massachusetts.Gauthier already owned the career point-scoring record in girls hockey in Massachusetts, but on Saturday at Connery Rink, the Providence-bound Gauthier went even one step better. With two goals and three assists in a 10-1 win over Archbishop Williams on Senior Night, Gauthier became the leading scorer, male or female, in Massachusetts high school hockey history.”Her ultimate goal is winning the state final,” Gauthier’s mother, Marianne, said on Sunday night. “She’s a great kid, she really is ? She’s so humble.””The magnitude of this record is great,” St. Mary’s coach Frank Pagliuca said. “It was a good night for everybody and the record topped it all off.”The Spartans (19-0-0) weren’t just a one-player show on Saturday as six other players joined Gauthier in the goal-scoring column. Courtney Winters and Christen Hart had two goals each, with Alex Smith, Bridget Mini and Bridget Donovan also having goals.”It was a good team effort,” Pagliuca said. The Spartans have two games remaining in the regular season. They play host to Division 1 power Reading, coached by Olympic gold medalist and former Saugus native Sandra Sweeney, on Wednesday (8:20) at Connery. The Rockets feature two of the top players in Massachusetts in forwards Domonique Lozzi and Jen Abrams.
