LYNN-Lynn police handled a string of pedestrian car accidents over the holiday weekend, including one that left a man seriously injured late Friday night.Oscar Delgado, 48, of Everett was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry when he accidentally struck Willard Clark, 48, of Lynn on Western Avenue near the Belden Bly Bridge at about 11:45 p.m. Friday, police said.Clark was getting off an MBTA bus right before he was hit, according to police. He was listed in serious condition at Mass. General Hospital on Tuesday.Delgado has not been cited. Police said the investigation into the accident is ongoing.Police dealt with two other less serious pedestrian accidents on Monday.At 5:30 p.m., police responded to 150 Lynnway on a report of a man struck by a car. The caller said the victim flew into the air, but managed to get up and walk away from the scene and said the driver took off. Police arrived a few minutes later but could not find any victim.At 9:05 p.m. Monday, police were called to the corner of Henry and Lawton avenues where a man was hit by a car. The operator took a left turn from Henry onto Lawton and was unable to stop for a pedestrian who walked into the street, police said.The victim was transported to Salem Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
