REVERE-A Revere man was arrested early Thursday morning for breaking into a vacant East Boston home and leading officers on a foot chase, police said.Jose Rodriguez, 38, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering at night at 4 a.m. Thursday, shortly after he broke into a vacant second-floor apartment at 459 Meridan St. in East Boston, according to Boston police.Officers were called to the house after first-floor residents heard noises coming from the second floor. Both the second and third floor apartments were supposed to be vacant, police said.After officers yelled at the suspect to come down the stairs with his hands up, he allegedly tried to run away from the officers but was captured a short time later, according to police.?
