REVERE – Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to rob someone walking down Beach Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday.The victim said he was walking toward his home when a suspect approached him and told him to empty his pockets, police said.After words were exchanged, the suspect got away with nothing.During the incident, the suspect did not remove his hands from his pockets and the victim could not tell if he was armed, police said.The suspect was described as a dark-skinned male about 5-foot-8 with a light colored zipper sweatshirt. He had a “razor thin mustache and beard” and was wearing baggy pants, police said.-Dan O’Brien
