LYNN – The body of a woman found Wednesday in the trunk of a car on Faulkner Street in Malden is presumed to be that of a Lynn woman.Family members of 37-year-old Norma Dorce Gills told several media outlets the body is likely hers. Authorities informed Norma’s brother, Jules Dorce, that the body looks like his sister and was found inside her car.”They advised me that they found Norma’s car with a body inside, but they don’t know yet if it is Norma. But because I know that she has been missing and the body is in her car, that is why I assume this is her,” Jules Dorce said to WCVB-TV.A Middlesex District Attorney spokesperson said Thursday night that Dorce Gills is a Lynn resident. However, the DA’s Office has not officially identified the body found in the car because autopsy results are not complete.Dorce Gills reportedly went missing Feb. 13 from the Scruple hair salon that she owned on Salem Street in Malden. While she was in the middle of working on a customer, she reportedly said she was getting some coffee and would be right back. She never returned as the customer waited in the chair.Dorce Gills’ boyfriend owns a convenience store located next to her beauty shop. Police have not commented on whether the man is a suspect or released his name.Jules Dorce reportedly spoke to the boyfriend since his sister’s disappearance, but the man said he hasn’t seen her or knows anything about her whereabouts.Malden District Court records show Dorce Gills had taken out a restraining order against her boyfriend.
