LYNN – Police continue to investigate Wednesday morning’s robbery of the St. Jean’s Credit Union on Western Avenue – the second robbery at the credit union in the past month.At about 8:30 a.m., an unshaven white man in his 20s walked into the credit union and passed a note to the teller demanding cash, police said. No weapons were observed and the thief fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.The suspect was also described as having a thin build, about 5-foot-7 wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and a white knit cap.A robber hit St. Jean’s Feb. 7, when the suspect – also described as a white male with blond hair in his 20s – fled the building with about $300. Police are investigating whether the two robberies are connected.”Detectives are looking into that possibility,” Lynn police spokesperson Lt. Dave Brown said.Lynn police are investigating the robberies in conjunction with the FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force.
