PEABODY – A Peabody man is facing a list of charges after he allegedly crashed a stolen truck into a Lowell Street convenience store Monday and tried to run away.Eric B. Reeves, 38, of 8 Lowe St., Peabody, was arrested shortly after 10 p.m.Police say Reeves stole a Ford pickup belonging to a Foster Street business, Tower Blast and Paint Inc. Police discovered Reeves allegedly driving the vehicle a short time later, when a brief chase ensued.He allegedly crashed the truck into the White Hen Pantry at 79 Lowell St. before trying to flee on foot. Police caught up with him a short time later.Police say Reeves broke into another vehicle at Tower Blast as well.Reeves was charged with receiving stolen property, driving with a revoked license, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a burglarious instrument and failing to stop for police.
