REVERE – A Revere man was arrested Wednesday on charges he physically abused his 7-year-old son.Erick G. Soto, 27, of 37 Tuttle St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a child and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.Revere police were contacted by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office after someone reported the alleged abuse.Officers went to the boy’s school and collected physical evidence of the child, according to Police Capt. Michael Murphy.Police later conducted an interview with Soto and placed him under arrest.
