LYNN – Police said the woman who was struck by a car at Liberty and Market streets Wednesday was treated for non life-threatening injuries.Shortly after 7 p.m., Theresa McCauley, 37, of Lynn was struck by a 2006 Honda as it turned left from Market onto Liberty.The driver, Elsie Torres of Lynn, was visibly upset at the scene. She was not cited by police.”She came out of nowhere,” Torres said at the scene.McCauley says she stepped off the curb and didn’t notice the car was coming, police said.Torres says she was a short distance behind another vehicle and as they both turned onto Liberty, McCauley was struck, according to police.
