Lynn elementary hoop tournament continues

The following are semifinal-round results from the Lynn Elementary Basketball Tournament:In Division 3 girls, Lincoln-Thomson defeated Sewall-Anderson, 11-9. Chelsea Rogers led Lincoln-Thomson with 11 points, including the winning basket, while Ariee Nash had a team-high four points for Sewall-Anderson. Also in Division 3 girls, Lynn Woods defeated Tracy, 17-15, with Shanna Zerain scoring a team-high 10 points for Lynn Woods and Angelica Much leading Tracy with six points. The game was tied 6-6 at halftime.In Division 2 girls, Sisson defeated Hood, 24-18. Tatkneeya Smith led Sisson with 16 points; Linda Rean had a team-high 15 points for Hood. Also in Division 2 girls, Drewicz defeated Washington, 21-8, with Janeliz Iovanna leading Drewicz with 14 points and Selena Baptiste adding seven. Divonia Brown-Simpson led Washington with four points.In Division 2 boys, Cobbett defeated Hood 17-4. Elijah McConney and Luis Rodriguez each led Cobbett with four points, while Connor Galloway led Hood with three points.Also in Division 2 boys, Sisson defeated Aborn, 23-19. Richard Swanson led Sisson with 10 points, while Brent Lozzi added six. Ryan O’Connor had a game-high 16 points for Aborn.All games were played at the Pickering Middle School gym.
