PEABODY-Peabody School Business Manager Mike Musto will stick around for at least another three years, as School Committee members unanimously voted Tuesday night to re-new his contract. His current contract is set to expire on June 30 of this year, but Superintendent Milton Burnett said he has been impressed with his work, and therefore, recommended lengthening his stay in Tanner City.?I enthusiastically support this recommendation,” said Committee member Dave McGeney, who said he has heard many positive comments about Musto?s work in Peabody.Committee member Ed Nizwantowski echoed McGeney.?He?s been nothing but professional and outstanding,” he said.Nizwantowski quipped that if the school had more money to give, he?d like to pay Musto more, but they don?t. He also complimented Musto on the many fashionable ties he wears to work each day.Mike Moutsoulas said he has developed a strong working relationship with Musto, and that he has “grown into his job.”Mayor Michael Bonfanti couldn?t have agreed more.?I work very closely with the business manger,” he said, adding that Musto is a “good person” to work with. “He?s very helpful. We appreciate it.”For the 2007-2008 school year, Musto was contracted to make $91,928. Burnett said that his salary for the upcoming school year is to be determined in conjunction with the budget.
