SAUGUS – It was double trouble for two men Monday when they were charged with two different crimes in one day.At 1:05 p.m., police were called to 10 Bow St. Extension on a report of a man trying to kick down the back door. As one of the suspects kicked at the door, the other was waiting in a vehicle in front of the house, police said.Police stopped the car a few minutes later at Walden and Bow streets and placed the men under arrest.Robert S. Pulisciano, 31, of 1 West St., Danvers, was arrested on five warrants, one of which was for failing to register as a sex offender and was also charged with resisting arrest.James M. O’Connell, 31, of 27 North Ave., Revere, was arrested and charged with trespassing and an outstanding warrant.At 11 p.m. Monday, Saugus police received a call from a 32-year-old Revere woman who said Pulisciano and O’Connell robbed her last night.She stated that her handbag containing $400 cash and personal property was stolen, police said.Police said the victim identified two store cards that were found in Pulisciano’s possession when he was arrested earlier. A subsequent investigation revealed the cards positively belonged to the victim, police said.Both men were additionally charged with robbery.
