SALEM – A woman facing a potential life sentence in state prison for robbing a Dunkin’ Donuts on Lewis Street in Lynn last month remains free on $1,500 cash.In Salem Superior Court Friday morning, Deborah Conley, 50, of 146 Breman St., East Boston, pleaded innocent to armed robbery before Judge Leila R. Kern.As jointly recommended by the prosecutor and defense, the judge agreed to set the same bail amount as previously set in district court and continued her case to May 12 for a pretrial conference.Assistant District Attorney Jean M. Curran said the charge concerns an incident in Lynn last month involving a holdup of a Dunkin’ Donuts.According to reports, a woman with dyed blond hair, wearing dark sunglasses and a black leather jacket walked into the Dunkin’ Donuts, at 116 Lewis St., at about 8 p.m.The would-be-robber told the counterwoman she was armed as she held her hand in her pocket and demanded cash.The counterwoman gave the robber about $250 and she fled from the store on foot.Within minutes, police responding to the scene found the suspect nearby on Lewis Street.The counterwoman identified Conley as the robber, police said.
