REVERE – Police are investigating a possible attempted carjacking that occurred early Saturday outside the Courtyard Marriot in North Revere.Shortly before 3 a.m., police responded to the hotel parking lot at 100 Morris St. and spoke with the male victim, who is staying at the hotel.He was making a U-turn in a remote part of the parking lot when an unknown man allegedly grabbed the car door handle and tried to open the door, according to police.While the suspect was doing this, he was allegedly holding some kind of sharp object. The victim could not definitively say the object was a weapon, police said.The suspect ran into the woods behind the hotel, according to police. Officers are now reviewing video surveillance tapes in hopes to catch a lead.
